5/4/16: Today we just set up this blog and I assigned jobs for each team member.

5/6/16: Today we continued to set up this blog. I took pictures for 'The Challenge' page and wrote the first paragraph for the 'What is an ROV?' page.

5/10/16: Today we got our ROV building kit which has the materials we need to make the ROV frame, motors, and control panels. I watched videos on how to solder and how to put together different parts of the ROV. Then I started putting electrical tape on the motors to waterproof them.

5/11/16: Today I finished putting electrical tape on the motors and started stripping the wires that will connect to the motors. I also checked in with all the members of my team to make sure we were all on track.

5/13/16: Today I finished water proofing the motors by putting wax on them and sealing them off. I then made the propellors for the motors but I still need to put them on the motors. I also need to attach the motors to the ROV frame.

5/19/16: Today I super glued the propellers onto the motors and zip tied the motors onto the frame. I also zip tied the tether onto the ROV. We then tested the ROV in the mini pool and IT WORKED!!!! We also bought some materials to attach to our ROV.

5/20/16: Today I changed where the tether was zip tied so our ROV wouldn't get caught in it. Then I helped attach a fish net to our ROV which we are going to use for one of the challenges. We also tested the ROV many times in the mini pool and balanced out the buoyancy. The only thing left to do is to figure out how to mount the camera.

5/24/16: Today I wrote our teams daily update and helped attach the underwater camera. I also helped with the testing of the ROV in the mini pool. Then I helped with multiple different tests on the ROV that relate to the challenges. Finally, I checked in with my team about our progress and all our hard work. Today is the last work day and we can no longer modify our ROV after today.
