About Us

Kinley Wangdi - Well hi there my name is Kinley, I am currently a senior at Gunn High School. I have taken marine bio for about a year now, and might or might not continue with it through college. Skills I am bringing to my team are: building the ROV, teaching others how to use tools they are new too, as well as helping with any of the other parts of the ROV ( building the remote, attaching the turbine etc). I am looking forward to building the ROV from scratch, and being able to see it move and actually work!

Catherine Gray - My name is Catherine Gray and I am currently a junior at Henry M. Gunn High School. My experiences in marine science include taking Marine Biology at school this year and taking a week long Oceanology course in a science camp at Stanford University. The skills I will bring to my team are leadership, organization, and a helping hand. I’m looking forward to testing/competing with our ROV and gaining experience in scientific work.

Marisa Agarwal - My name is Marisa Agarwal and I am currently a junior at Gunn High School. I am very passionate about marine biology and ecology. I have loved the ocean since I was a little kid and I hope to go into the marine science field in the future. My experiences consist of knowledge of a year long marine biology course at Gunn, a year long engineering design class at Gunn, and lots of experience in the field of ocean research. I contribute to the team in that I can work well with others, support people when they need help, and make a deadline. I look forward to putting the ROV in the pool and trying out the obstacles as well as helping in the construction process.

Eva Wong - My name is Eva Wong and I am a junior currently taking Marine Bio at Henry M. Gunn High School. I am very interested in biology, and hoped to further my understanding by taking this course. Some skills I bring to the table include good communication skills and adequate knowledge of how to run a blog. I look forward to building our ROV and making it suitable for traveling underwater.
