Our brilliant ROV driver, Marisa, practiced driving the ROV and completing the different challenges. She also helped decide how and where we would attach the camera. Here's a picture of the ROV in action:

Eva helped navigate the ROV and started learning the different types of species we will have to identify for one of the challenges. She also helped make sure everything was working on our blog.

Catherine, the leader, helped decide where the camera would be attached and assisted with the testing of the ROV in the mini pool. She also wrote this post and oversaw many of the different testings. This is the underwater camera we are using:

Kinley was in charge of looking at the video feed from the underwater camera and helped figure out where we would attach it. He also helped identify multiple species we will have to know for a challenge.  This is what the camera looks like on the ROV:
